(SOKOITARI) means meticulous attention to design details, and ingenuity and creativity applied to design enhancements. It indicates refinements that are inconspicuous but extremely careful in execution. Sokoitari is the ultimate “IKI” in terms of aesthetics sought by the Japanese.

Just like the wind blown pattern in the sand, a myriad of gentle streamlines are formed by the undulating yarns. Comes with a consistent design in two shades of brown that call to mind the colour of unglazed pottery, and three neutral colours with a bold presence. 

This natural texture and infinite expansion woven by light and shadow are the products of the creator’s imagination and ingenuity.
